Tim’s 1954 Chevy Pickup
A local car shop that I do work for has a guy that has built a beautiful classic Chevy pickup. It’s to be completed in a month or so and we’ve talked about photographing it and getting it into magazines for a while now. I told him I’m ready for it when it is and he mention that he is as well. He also said that another photographer is going to rent it from him from time to time for wedding photos. I was like, ‘That’s a great idea. You could even do that for Senior Photos as well.’ Without taking a second to think about it he said “That’s a great idea, but I’d do that for free.”
I was floored. I was like, this guy is the coolest dude ever!! It’s awesome to see that kind of free love and kindness in people. It’s a rarity these days. This is the kind of person that makes things better in the world. A great light in all the darkness. I saw a story about a photographer recently that talked about how one photographer offers photo sessions to kids with disabilities after another one refused to do a shoot. It’s sad that an individual would not photograph someone like that but it’s awesome in the same moment that another amazing person stepped up and did it for free.
Everyone needs love and is VERY capable of giving unconditional love. It warms the heart to hear these stories and see that people are very caring. World, please keep amazing us with your AMAZING people!!
